Is myJotup really free?
Yes! myJotup is completely free to use. Our goal is to provide a fast, frictionless note-sharing experience for everyone.
Do I need an account to create a note?
No. We believe in zero friction. You can start writing and sharing notes immediately without ever signing up or providing an email address.
How long do notes last?
By default, notes last as long as you need them. However, you can set an optional expiration time (from 1 hour to 30 days) after which the note will be automatically deleted from our servers.
Are my notes private?
Absolutely. You can add password protection to any note. Without the password, even someone with the link cannot view the content. We also don't track your identity or sell your data.
Can I edit a note after sharing it?
Currently, myJotup is designed for quick, ephemeral sharing. Once a note is created, it cannot be edited. This ensures that the recipient sees exactly what you intended at the moment of sharing.
What note types does myJotup support?
We support three note types: Plain Text for simple writing, Markdown with a live preview pane for formatted text and code, and Rich Text with a full WYSIWYG editor including fonts, colors, tables, images, and emojis.
Can I download my notes?
